Common Questions

Generic career advice online is written for everyone, which means it is tailored to no one. Xenzar gives you feedback and guidance that is specific to your exact role, your exact industry, and your actual CV or interview answers. Instead of reading an article about how to write a CV, you upload your CV and get a score out of 10 with specific, actionable feedback on what to fix. That is a completely different level of usefulness.

None at all. Xenzar is designed to be simple and intuitive. If you can send an email and use a website, you can use Xenzar. Every tool guides you step by step and the AI does the complex work. You just need to show up and engage with it honestly.

Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified - the highest standard of payment security available. Your card details are never stored on our servers. All data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL encryption.

You upload your CV as a PDF or Word document and tell us the role and industry you are targeting. Our AI analyses your CV against the specific requirements and expectations of that role and gives you a score out of 10. You also receive three specific strengths, three specific improvements, and a role-tailored tip. The whole process takes under 15 seconds. Career Builder and Pro subscribers can score up to 3 CVs per month. Pro subscribers have unlimited CV scoring.

You paste the job description, enter the company name, your name, and the role you are applying for. Our AI generates a tailored three-paragraph cover letter in British English that references the specific requirements of the job description and positions you compellingly for that role. It never starts with "I am writing to apply" - a phrase that every recruiter has read thousands of times. You can copy the letter or download it as a Word document.

You select your target role and the AI takes on the role of an interviewer, asking you five questions one at a time. You type or speak your answer, and the AI scores your response out of 10, tells you what you did well, and gives you a specific tip to improve. After all five questions you receive an overall summary. Career Builder subscribers get 5 sessions per month. Pro subscribers have unlimited sessions.

Yes. Xenzar supports voice input in the mock interview simulator. Click the microphone icon, speak your answer, and the platform will transcribe and score it exactly as it would a typed answer. This is the most realistic way to practice - speaking out loud forces you to structure your thoughts in real time, just as you would in an actual interview.

You paste your LinkedIn Headline, About section, and Experience section into the tool, and tell us your target role. The AI gives each section a score and specific feedback, identifies three quick wins you can action today, and gives you a keyword tip with specific search terms that recruiters in your industry use. This helps you appear in more recruiter searches without having to guess what keywords to use.

You paste an interview question and your draft answer, select your role, and the AI scores your answer, tells you what worked, identifies what was missing, and rewrites it as an improved answer using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). It then breaks down the improved answer into its STAR components so you can understand the structure. Particularly useful for preparing for competency-based interviews.

It is genuinely specific to your role and industry. This is one of the most important things that makes Xenzar different from generic AI tools. When you score a CV for an NHS Healthcare Assistant role, the feedback references NHS-specific expectations, clinical competencies, and healthcare hiring practices. When you practice a mock interview for a Customer Service Manager role, the questions reference NPS, stakeholder management, and CS-specific scenarios. We cover 19 industries and 150+ roles and every response is tailored accordingly.

You can - and many people try. But here is what you quickly discover:

Generic AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude are incredibly powerful general-purpose assistants. They can write essays, answer questions, help with code, and yes, give some career advice. But they were not built for job seekers. They do not know your industry, they do not know your role, they do not remember your previous conversations, and they require you to do all the work of writing the right prompts to get useful output.

Xenzar is purpose-built for one specific problem: helping UK job seekers get hired. Every single feature, every AI prompt, every piece of feedback has been designed specifically for that goal. You do not need to know how to prompt an AI. You just upload your CV and we do the rest.

Think of it this way. A general-purpose AI tool is like a fully-equipped kitchen - you could technically make anything in it, but you need to know what you are doing. Xenzar is like a professional chef who specialises in exactly the dish you need. You get a better result, faster, with far less effort.
